This estate was created in 1754 by Jacques Boyd， squire from a Belfast family， its wine is already highly appreciated and is classified third growth of Cantenac by the broker Labadie in 1776， In 1806， John Lewis Brown， husband of Jacques Boyds granddaughter， purchased the property， then he sold it in 1843， this sale was the beginning of the division of the vineyard between the future Ch・・teau Cantenac-Brown and Ch・・teau Boyd-Cantenac.Blend : Cabernet Sauvignon， Merlot， Cabernet Franc， Petit Verdot.Wine Score : 90/10075cl x 12
